Workshop

Our workshop has scheduled drop-in sessions for lapidary and silversmithing where members can work. We also occasionally have ad hoc special workshops.

If you are a member in good standing, have taken the required lapidary workshop training course, and are double vaccinated with a vaccine “passport” with ID to show, you can drop in at the workshops and use the equipment on a first-come, first-served (shared) basis. Be prepared to work on another project if you need to wait to use a particular piece of equipment.

If you are not currently a member of the Hastings Centre Rockhounds, you can drop in to enquire about membership, but will need to have membership and to complete the introductory training sessions with one of our instructors in order to freely use the equipment in our workshop. Please see our Membership page to learn more about how to become a member.
